Taking the training and onboarding process online

Harbour Software training onboarding News
Businesses around the world have been forced to work from home and cancel in-person meetings in response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. However, the restrictions should not put a halt on the digital transformation journey, and rather, businesses should accelerate the process to adopt a ‘cloud-first’ strategy.

During the COVID-19 restrictions, an increasing number of businesses saw a need to move to a digital cloud platform to support organisational process and boost workplace efficiencies. Doc Assembler is a cloud-based software built for local government agencies to streamline the agenda and minutes process online.

As part of the Doc Assembler implementation process for new clients, a training and onboarding session is arranged to offer Council staff an overview of Doc Assembler and learn how to navigate the new cloud-based system. This helps to ensure that employees understand the fundamentals of the system and can easily integrate the software into their daily workflows.

It is essential for service providers to deliver a structured onboarding program for effective digital adoption. Delivering proper introduction and integration of the new process is critical to enable successful software implementation.

To continue delivering valuable workplace learning and training, Harbour Software provides remote training in a virtual live learning space, enabling staff to take part in the training session from anywhere, even when they’re working from home.

On-going support is also available post-implementation of Doc Assembler to help ensure Council staff are comfortable with new software and confident with generating Council documents online.
